Emerging in 1997 from its parent company, Mike’s Heavy Equipment & Trailer Sales, Inc., Down to Earth Equipment Rentals is continuously expanding its rental fleet to assist homeowners, government municipalities, contractors, quarry and aggregate companies, and most recently, the oil and gas industry. Company president and owner, Michael L. Sheruda, has operated in the field as a diesel mechanic for Mike’s Heavy Equipment & Trailer Sales, Inc. since 1983. His 40 years of mechanical expertise leads a knowledgeable staff in assisting customers to choose the right machine for the job. We operate two convenient locations in Scott Township and Montrose PA.

Operating with aligned goals, we offer around-the-clock service to contractors working with the Marcellus Shale Play. Normal maintenance is included in our rental prices and we offer delivery and pick-up at reasonable rates.

Our staff consists of friendly and knowledgeable people who go that extra mile to serve our customers. We want to help our customers get their jobs done in an efficient and safe manner, saving them both time and money. We constantly update our equipment inventory in order to give our customers reliable, well serviced equipment.
